About Candice

Candice Gresham is the owner and founder of Natural Nurturers Nanny Agency. A North Shore native of Evanston, Illinois, Candice’s passion for caring for children began at an early age, providing in-home childcare for families throughout her community. That early passion grew into a lifelong career dedicated to nurturing children and supporting families.

Her professional journey eventually led her to become an Assistant Teacher at Harkness House for Children in Winnetka, Illinois, where she continued to strengthen her skills and expand her understanding of early childhood development. Through NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), Candice completed certifications and trainings that further enhanced her knowledge of how children grow, learn, and thrive. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to continued learning and professional growth, intentionally deepening her understanding of child development, age-appropriate care, and the unique emotional and developmental needs of children.

With a genuine passion for nurturing children and supporting families, Candice transitioned into private nanny care, where she built a longstanding career serving families throughout Chicago’s North Shore. Over the years, her role extended far beyond traditional childcare, allowing her to wear many hats while becoming an integral part of the families she supported. From managing busy household routines and school transportation to coordinating activities, attending sporting practices, planning celebrations, supporting homework and developmental milestones, and stepping in wherever an extra hand was needed, Candice experienced firsthand the versatility, dedication, and trust required of an exceptional nanny.

Through these experiences, Candice came to understand that a great nanny is so much more than a caregiver. A nanny can be a dependable partner to parents, a consistent and nurturing presence in a child’s life, and, in many cases, a valued extension of the family. It is this understanding that continues to shape the heart and philosophy behind Natural Nurturers.

Candice has now dedicated more than twenty-five years to professional childcare and nanny services. As a wife and mother of twins herself, she also understands firsthand the importance of having dependable, trustworthy support when caring for a family.

Her extensive experience working directly with both children and parents ultimately inspired her to create Natural Nurturers Nanny Agency. Candice brings the perspective of someone who has not only worked within the nanny profession, but has lived and understood the many responsibilities, relationships, and expectations that come with it. Today, she uses that experience to thoughtfully connect families with qualified, nurturing caregivers who can become the trusted support every family deserves.
